SHS can arrange collection and delivery of your racquet from any of the following postcode areas: CR3, CR5, CR8, KT4, KT9, KT11, KT17 to KT24, RH1 to RH12, SM1 to SM3 and SM5 to SM7.

Our main man, Tom Goodliffe, is an immensely experienced racquet stringer with more than 30 years of stringing knowledge and has personally strung more than 16,000 individual racquets. Tom is a long-term member of the UK Racket Stringers Association.

For nearly 40 years Tom has been involved in retailing all racquet sports equipment, shoes and clothing during his career owning and running one of the most respected independent sports shops in Surrey and South London, meaning that advice and guidance on strings and tensions is Tom’s forte. As a retired club tennis player and long-time Surrey Cup squash player and has also played first team hockey for Cheam back in the days of the London League as well a having enjoyed Rugby and Cricket.

Surrey Hills Stringing use professional quality machines with ‘constant pull’ technology and six-point mountings.

Prices start from as little as £20 for restrings and £5 for regripping racquets. Minor grommet replacements are included free-of-charge with a restring. New complete grommet strips can be ordered and fitted within 48 hours. Surrey Hills Stringing can supply replacement grips, as well as overgrips from £5.00, with free fitting.

A wide range of strings are always carried in stock for immediate work. Almost all strings and brands are available within 48 hours.
